The Campus is located in the north side of Milano and can be easily reached by urban trains from the city center. A new building equipped with a modern Conference Hall for more than 400 attendees has been recently delivered. In the same building and in the neighboring ones, several smaller conference rooms (200 attendees each) as well as spaces for posters presentation and exhibition are also available. Moreover, the building outside can be used as exposition space for small ORC plants examples, components, machines or prototypes. 



HOW TO REACH THE BOVISA CAMPUS
From Bovisa Politecnico station you will exit on an above-ground square: be sure to take the stairs on your right side towards the Engineering Campus. The ORC2017 will take place in one of the buildings you will find just in front of you 100 m ahead and right from the bottom of the stairs (B27 and B28 located in Via Lambruschini 4) 

From Milano Center: The Bovisa Campus is connected to the city center by suburban train lines S1, S2, S3, S4 and S13 (http://www.trenord.it/media/1699326/mappasuburbano_2016_01_a4.pdf).Time required from any part of the city to the BOVISA – Politecnico station ranges from 5 to 20 minutes, depending from the starting .

From Malpensa Airport: The congress venue (Bovisa Campus of Politecnico di Milano) can easily be reachted by train directly from the Malpensa Airport in 20 minutes  (www.malpensaexpress.it).  

From Bergamo-Orio Al Serio Airport: take the bus to Milano Central Station (50 min) and then by Metro M2  go to Garibaldi Station stop (3 min) + Suburban Train Passante S1 to S4 to  Bovisa Politecnico stop (10 min). (https://www.atm.it/it/ViaggiaConNoi/PublishingImages/schema_rete_metro.jpg)

From Linate Airport: take the BUS n. 73 to Piazza Dateo stop (10 min) and then Suburban Passante Ferroviario (S1, S2, S3; S4, S13) to Bovisa Politecnico stop.
 
Milano Cadorna Station: Take the train to the MILANO BOVISA station (all trains leaving Milano Cadorna station, except for the Malpensa Express, stop at Bovisa). Exit the station, turn right, go down the stairs and follow the red line in the figure.

From Milano Centrale Station: Take Line 2 of the underground railway (MM2 green line) towards Abbiategrasso as far as GARIBALDI station (second stop)Íž here, without leaving the underground railway station, catch the Passante Ferroviario underground railway link towards Bovisa as far as MILANO BOVISA station (second stop). Exit the station, turn right, go down the stairs and follow the red line in the figure.

POLITECNICO
The Politecnico di Milano decided to contribute to the successful history of ORC Conferences by hosting the 4th dition.
Politecnico di Milano is the first technical university in Italy and contributed to the very first developments of the ORC technology, initiated by the pioneering work of Prof. Gianfranco Angelino and collaborators in the early 70’s. Today, the area of Milano counts two of the major industries in the field of ORC power plant suppliers.
The Bovisa Campus, where the ORC 2017 Congress will take place, hosts the Energy, Aerospace, Mechanics and Management Department of Politecnico di Milano. Large part of the area is dedicated to the university laboratories. 

Host City
Milano is the hosting city of the ORC 2017 Conference. Milano is the Italian capital of economics, technology and fashion. 

Milano enjoys a central position in Europe and hosted the Universal Exposition of 2015, which fostered the city image and receptivity towards international visitors.Milano can be easily reached by airplane from all over the world through one of the three airports located in the area: the Malpensa airport is connected to the city center in just 25 minutes by train or 40 minutes by bus; the Linate Airport can be reached by the city center in few minutes of urban bus; Orio al Serio (Bergamo) airport is connected to Milano downtown in 50 minutes by bus.
